non c'č il tempo di accomodarsi che il Cus Udine parte alla grande sull'asse

imbastisce la percussione e Dario Novello sfonda schiacciando in meta. Una meta
che in un qualche modo segna il passaggio di consegne tra i "vecchi" e i "nuovi"
giocatori : Dario č nipote di Luciano Novello che prima di esordire in serie A
con il San Donā negli anni '90, ha vestito la maglia bianconera e di derby ne ha
giocati molti. Piani trasforma la meta di Novello e il pareggio č raggiunto. Da
questo momento la partita si apre al gioco totale, attacchi alla mano,
percussioni delle mischie e tanto spettacolo. Sembra quasi che gli ordini di
scuderia siano di non calciare mai la palla per offrire lo spettacolo al
pubblico. Entusiasmante il finale con i cussini in attacco, ma la difesa
giuliana regge molto bene e il match si conclude con un giusto pareggio. Questo
primo derby del millennio lascerā tante recriminazioni di azioni mancate o
placcaggi sbagliati, ma senza ombra di dubbio, a tutti coloro che erano
presenti, rimarrā un indelebile ricordo che il rugby del cuore, quello che
soffri per 80 minuti, quello che ti preoccupa per una settimana e ti strugge o
